REQUIREMENT OF DIRECTOR AT NCM
- Narmada Education and Scientific Research Society [NEST] an educational trust sponsored by Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd. [GNFC] is running various under graduate and post graduate courses as below at Narmada Education Campus, BHARUCH.
1. Narmada College of Science and Commerce (Affiliation: VNSGU)
a. B. Sc. & B. Com., M. Sc., M. Com. [Grant in Aid]
b. B. Com. , BBA and BCA [Self Finance]
c. M. Sc. [Self Finance]
2. Narmada College of Management (Affiliation: GTU)
a. MBA (Full Time)
b. MBA (Part Time-Evening course)
3. Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan (Affiliation: BVB, Mumbai)
a. One year post graduate part time courses of Materials Management, Industrial Relation & Personal Management, Business Management, Financial Management, International Trade- Export & Import etc.
4. Directorate of Technical Educational Board (GOG) (Affiliation: Technical Educational Board, Gandhinagar)
a. Two years Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS).
b. Two years Post diploma in Industrial Environmental Technology (PDIETM).
- The Bharuch town has a blend of ancient heritage and bustling with industrial growth in Bharuch and its surrounding town of Ankleshwar, Jhagadia and Dahej, all in the radius of about 30 kms.
- Bharuch is between Surat & Vadodara only 76 KM from Vadodara and about 72 KM from Surat on N H No. 8 and trunk rail route.
Narmada College of Management requires a Director to look after the affairs of the College and Campus. He/She should be the link between the College and Management.
Requires DIRECTOR - MBA Program
Applications are invited for the post of Director at Narmada College of Management (NCM), Bharuch.
- Minimum Qualification will be as per AICTE Regulation and GTU Norms for the above post.
- Eligibility, qualifications and other recruitment criteria will be as per AICTE Regulations and Gujarat Technological University (GTU) norms.
- Those in employment have to apply with NOC from present employer.
Qualifications for Director: (Level – 14)
- Ph. D. degree and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
- At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor / Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research/ industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:
- The Director of an MBA course plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the design, delivery, quality, and continuous improvement of the MBA program. This role is both strategic and operational, and involves working closely with faculty, students, university administration, and external stakeholders. Provide strategic leadership in curriculum design, delivery, accreditation, and continuous program improvement.
- To guide faculties in research, teaching innovation, and professional development.
- Offer academic and career guidance to students.
- Develop and implement admission criteria, and participate in student recruitment and selection.
- Strengthen industry linkages for internships, placements, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.
- Oversee program budgets, resources, scheduling of classes, examinations, and academic events.
- Report program performance, enrolments, and outcomes to the management.
- Explore opportunities for institutional growth, partnerships, and innovation.
Narmada College of Science & Commerce and Narmada College of Management operate on the same campus.
ELIGIBILITY:
Master degree with Ph.D. and at least 15 years of experience in teaching and/or administration of an educational Institute, out of which at least 3 years
shall be at the post of Professor. He/She should have good command on English and knowledge of rules & regulations of College/University system.
TENURE:
The age of superannuation of Director shall be 62 years.
SALARY:
Salary shall be based on qualifications and experience and other benefits as per Trust rules.
Final decision of appointment is solely reserved by the Authority (NEST) subject to fulfilment of criteria.
